Open Community Football - Friday fun

With this great new enthusiasm for getting back out with friends and family it’s a good time to refocus on the community aspect of a club.  We want players and all of their supporters to come together for more club wide, in addition to their team based, social activities.

Friday Fun – Open Community Football
When: Every Friday (starting 26 June)
Where: Albany United Clubrooms
Who: 5-13 years old
Time: 4 pm
Cost: Free for registered players, $2 for others

This is a night of fun, group based activities for all of our players (and their friends) to join in.  These will be led by Dan Campbell from our First Team.  Dan also heads up the Skills and Talent programmes, as well as being our Director of Football.
This will be a great after school activity for the kids to finish the week and plan their weekend with their friends in the clubrooms afterwards.
The Clubrooms (including kitchen and bar) will be open throughout for parents and supporters to meet with their own friends and others in the Club to enjoy an end of week beverage and hot snacks.
COVID-19 has hit many hard and in recognition of this and valuing what community spirit will bring to the Club, this event will initially be free to all registered players.  For friends of players we are asking for a token $2 to join in. Please sign in with the Volunteer in the High Vis vest upon arrival.
We look forward to seeing you and making this a regular feature.
