Kieron Henare - President

Kieron originally started playing for the club in 5th grade and played throughout the junior and youth grades while growing up. One of the highlights being representing the club in Australia at an U17 level in the Australian National Tournament "Kanga Cup" where they came runners up overall. After that, spent several enjoyable years in the 1st/Reserve squad and during those years the squad went from Northern 3rd Division all the way up to Northern Premier League. Kieron played socially elsewhere and returned to Albany at the end of 2015 to join the Junior Committee and launched the Harbour West Tournament along with Cluster Trainings. At the beginning of 2016 he also joined the Executive Board and in early 2017 became Vice President. He became President in 2018 and also sits on the Management Committee.

Kirsty Whiting - Secretary

Kirsty joined the club as a player in 2016 after being away from football for 10 years. Since re-joining the sport her passion has reignited, she started out as a player on the field but has since found herself in the position of goalkeeper - crazy, right! Albany Football is now part of the family to Kirsty, in the few short years she has been with the club she has since become a part of the events committee, volunteer club photographer, now club secretary and has recently become a referee. During the winter there isn’t a weekend that Kirsty isn’t present at the club one way or another.

Vaughan Wright - Executive Board Member

I'm Vaughan Wright, currently serving on the Executive Board of Albany United. I joined the board midway through the 2019 season and have enjoyed a fantastic year following the success the club has enjoyed. After years of playing and coaching (now retired) I’ve enjoyed being able to contribute to football in another way, even as self-nominated minivan/ bus driver on the away trips. A life long Chelsea fan I’d love to see some blue around the club but for now it’s come on the Red Army.
