Individual Team Sponsorship available
We are thrilled to announce we have Individual Team Sponsorship available this year for all of our teams. There are 3 different packages to chose from for each team. This sponsorship will hugely benefit the teams, and relieve some of the fundraising pressure they have all done themselves in the past. It's a great branding opportunity for our local businesses to get behind children's sports.
Ref's Course expressions of interest
POSTPONED until later in the season.
This will be an introduction to those taking up some refereeing this year, or a refresher for those who have done some in the past. From experience, taking a course is very useful in improving your refereeing and helping you deal with any situations that arise on match day.
Please register your interest below so we can advise you when a new date has been set.
Pre-season Programme announced
With the NFF 2020 winter season upon us in no time many of our players have been requesting to get back on the field and start training. We are pleased to announce we are offering a 4 session Pre-season Programme which will run every Tuesday from 4pm - 6pm at Rosedale Park. This starts on the 3rd of March and focuses on preparing players for the 2020 season so they feel confident with their abilities when heading back out onto the field.
We invite all Junior and Youth players, 5th-17th grade, to register for this programme. First Kicks Cluster Training will recommence at the same time.
Girls have-a-go afternoon
NFF celebrates Girls & Women’s Week from 14th - 23rd February 2020. Getting behind to inspire, celebrate and provide fun and inclusive opportunities for girls and women in New Zealand to get involved in football. Be it kicking a ball, officiating a game, leading a team or supporting a local club to run smoothly week in week out – there is something for everyone.
AUFC is proud to be celebrating this by holding a girls have-a-go afternoon session at our summer football league on Thursday afternoon. We will have mini skills sessions with our club President and Club Captain, as well as games that everyone is invited to take part in. We've asked all players to please wear something PINK to show their support for girls playing Football.
