Individual Team Sponsorship

As a club we understand the importance of brand awareness and wish to acknowledge the amazing support some of our teams get from their individual sponsors. 

What is Individual Team Sponsorship?

An individual team sponsor can be any business, organisation or private entity/trust who want to sponsor a team. We have three levels of sponsorship depending on what the team, or the entity, is wishing to achieve. Some entities may wish to quietly sponsor a team to ensure they have a few brand new extra items in their gear bag this season with their training equipment. Others, especially businesses, might want the full package which will help with brand awareness for their business. 

What is the difference between a Club Sponsor and Team Sponsor?

A 'Club Sponsor' has a written sponsorship agreement with the club and their sponsorship benefits the whole club. They will receive advertising from our club across our many different social media channels, as well as print and promotional signage.

A 'Team Sponsor' has no written agreement with the Club and their sponsorship only benefits the indivudal team they sponsor by way of providing the team with equipment/supplies that will prepare and carry them through the season. If the option of the "players shirts" is chosen, the shirts get gifted to each child and remain their property and do not get returned to the Club. All other equipment gets returned to the club at the end of the season to go into our pool of resources, or can be carried over into the next year should the team wish to stay together.

How does team sponsorship work?

Others, especially businesses, might want the full package which will help with brand awareness for their business. Having your logo printed on the teams bibs and shirts is great way to show your support for children in sport, whilst also advertising your business in a space it might not have been seen before.

Why is Individual Team Sponsorship beneficial to my business?

Exposure, especially when it comes to supporting children, is beneficial to any business. Your business logo will be out there running around infront of large groups of families every weekend. Gratfeul parents of the sponsored teams parents often boast how amazing the sponsor business is for gifting the package to the team. 

Every weekend we will be asking teams to send in photos of their "Player of the day" with their trophy and acknowledging their team name. This will be shared on our social media, so it's important to consider this when choosing a name for the team, whilst ensuring it's a name the children are proud for their team to be called and parents can shout it from the sidelines. We welcome businesses to share these posts to their own pages, celebrating the collaboration you have built with the team. 

Why is AUFC offering Team Sponsorship?

AUFC want to empower our local families and their businesses to stand proud as part of our club. We feel these sponsors haven't received the recognition they deserve in the past which is why we created these packages to ensure all teams are given an equal opportunity to look for a sponsor.

AUFC is a not-for-profit volunteer run club. Without the support of our generous sponsors and supporters we could not continue to offer football to our local residents. Like every club, or business, we have bigger dreams and are working hard to offer more opportunities to all our players and community. By sponsoring a team you are taking some of the financial weight off our continual fundraising efforts and allowing us to focus on our growth.

The custom heatpressed logo/name is up to 250mm wide. A vector image of the logo must be supplied, or we can get it converted for a small extra charge (please email the logo through first so we can obtain a quote for you).
