Welcome to our Juniors Information Page

Our junior grades are specially designed for both Boys and Girls between the ages of 9 and 12 yrs old.

The competition is run by the Northern Football Federation on Saturday mornings. Games are played on various fields across the North Shore and West Auckland as announced by the Northern Football Federation. Please see their website, www.northernfootballfederation.org.nz for detailed maps and ground locations
9th and 10th grade (mini football) play 7 v 7 (including a goalkeeper).
Play two games per playing day which are 25minutes long, against the same team one after another (similar to playing one game with two halves).
Play on a field approximately 55 by 35 meters.
Games usually play at 9am or 10am for 9th grade, and 10am or 11am for 10th grade.
11th and 12th grade (mini football) play 9 v 9 (including a goalkeeper)
Play two games per playing day which are 27.5minutes long, against the same team one after another (similar to playing one game with two halves).
Play on a field approximately 70 by 50 meters.
Games usually play at 10am or 11am for 11th grade, and 11am or 12pm for 12th grade.

Each player should be wearing Albany shirt, shorts and socks for their game.  If you have not yet purchased this, or don’t have one from last year (or handed down from a sibling), please see here. Players must also be wearing shin pads and boots for their game – these can be purchased at any sporting outlet, however we recommend going to Ultra Football Albany, and shopping our recommended products by selecting "Club" on their website, "Albany United FC" then using access code AUFC20.
