Junior Development Programme - Term 4

The Junior Development Player Package is an opportunity for ANY player aged 9 to 12 to improve their technical skills. The purpose of this initative is to move away from traditional development ‘teams’ and shift the ownership to the ‘players’ as everyone has the right to be involved this programme. If your child is keen to improve, work hard and become the best version of themselves then this is for you! Junior Development players will have an extra training session once a week in Tuesday afternoons, in addition to their team training

There will be 10 pro-coaching sessions in each term. If teams are unable to train due to weather, there will be no catch-up sessions. We will also be implementing player & parent evenings where coaches provide feedback to players.
Traditionally, this has been known as the Skill Development Programme, however, we are phasing this out and these sessions will now be referred as Pro-coaching.

Reviews from 2021 Programmes

"The skills training is great for players who would like to improve in all aspects of football. The difference in players doing the skills training and those who don't in the same age group is huge. I can definitely recommend skills training for any child that loves the game and would like to improve and prepare for the season." - Parent of child who participated
