Albany United FC is a non-for-profit sporting organisation.
Football the sport of choice, our club caters for the community, development of players and people, social football and competition football. We are an equal opportunity football club.
Intentions are great, however it costs a considerable sum to facilitate football when you have to run the clubrooms, pay for administration, sundries, apparel, equipment, maintenance, rent and pay the governing bodies to administer the competition and governance.
A number of charity partners assist where they can, but with their ability to assist falling short as each year passes, we are the reliance of volunteers and membership fees.
Our values and business model is to not to pass on costs to the membership, when the cost of living already creates barriers for kids to play sport. Our people are volunteers, which along with the few charity partners and club sponsors, allows us to keep membership costs to a minimum. One of the cheapest fee structures, we have actually lowered membership fees over the last few years, following the harsh realities that came about due to Covid-19.

Our club offers two types of Sponsorships:
First Team Sponsorship

Albany United Football Club (AUFC) want to empower our local families and businesses to stand proud as part of our club, and contribute to our local community initiatives.
AUFC is a not-for-profit volunteer run club. Without the support of our generous sponsors and supporters we could not continue to offer football to our local residents. Like every club, or business, we have bigger dreams and are working hard to offer more opportunities to all our players and community. By becoming a sponsor you are taking some of the financial weight off our continual fundraising efforts and allowing us to focus on our growth.
First Team Sponsorship
Supporting our First Team is where you can gain maximum exposure. Our Men’s First Team currently play in the Lotto NRFL Division One and are amongst the favourites to be promoted into Auckland’s top division, The Northern League. Our Women’s side also compete in Division 1 and missed out on Promotion last season due to COVID. These teams play throughout the Northern area of the North Island (Tauranga up) and having your company attached to their name, will certainly increase coverage of your brand. Here are the different levels of First Team partnerships available:
· Gold Sponsor - $10,000 per season
· Silver Sponsor - $5,000 per season
· Bronze Sponsor - $2,500 per season
· Flexi Partner – Together we will find what works best for both!

Albany Business Collective
The Albany Business Collective is a group of businesses within the local area that share common interests, football, and active communities. Each company selects a package that best fits. Depending on what is chosen it will enable organisations access to a database of 650 AUFC members with numbers expected to grow in 2022. Media channels include Facebook pages, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, emails, on field advertisement boards and match day programmes.
Funds will directly be invested back into the club and will support the operations of our programmes
· There are a several different packages that enable your company to connect with others in the Albany region:
· Red Package – $1,000
· Green Package - $500
· White Package - $300

Individual Team Sponsorship available
We are thrilled to announce we have Individual Team Sponsorship available this year for all of our teams. There are 3 different packages to chose from for each team. This sponsorship will hugely benefit the teams, and relieve some of the fundraising pressure they have all done themselves in the past. It's a great branding opportunity for our local businesses to get behind children's sports.
